Clouds. For the most part they get a bad rap. Their presence usually denotes "bad weather" and a lot of people are happier in their absence. However, there are some rare occasions when nature forces us to re-assess our values, sublime moments of supreme beauty that stop us in our tracks to absorb the gifts presented to our retinas. It is pretty incredible to us, how something as simple as water vapor and light can produce such awe-inspiring visuals in so many varieties. Cumulonimbus, lenticular, cirrus, nimbostratus - no matter what name science gives them, clouds have a special knack for demonstrating nature's creative streak, spread out on a heavenly canvas.
